About Dr. Marjorie Greenfield

A board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Marjorie Greenfield has practiced and taught obstetrics and gynecology for over 20 years, currently as Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and MacDonald Women’s Hospital of University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Dr. Greenfield has been recognized for clinical excellence by local and national organizations, including AOL Digital City, Best Doctors in America, Consumer Research Council of America, The Center for the Study of Services, Northern Ohio Live Magazine, and Cleveland Magazine.

For several years, Dr. Greenfield was Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the Dr. Spock Company, a health and parenting multimedia enterprise. In that position, she authored hundreds of articles for, answered scores of “Ask Our Experts” questions on the Internet, and directed obstetrical content for the magazine-style public television series Parentsense. In 2002, was one of only five Internet health sites nominated for a Webby Award, the Oscars of cyberspace.

Dr. Greenfield’s first book, Dr. Spock’s Pregnancy Guide, was published in May 2003 by Simon and Schuster and has been translated into Bulgarian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Italian, Chinese, and Russian, and for the United Kingdom edition, the Queen’s English. Her newest project is The Working Woman’s Pregnancy Book, published in 2008 by Yale University Press.
